Are you tired of being understaffed? Are you looking for a unique caseload with state-of-the-art equipment? Sick of staying after hours to finish records?

If so, Foothills Animal Hospital is the place for you.

We are looking for Associate DVMs, ER experience preferred but not required. Our fully staffed hospital offers an average of 5-8 technicians per doctor along with state-of-the-art CT, fluoroscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopy, two LOGIQ ultrasound machines, digital radiography, Snyder oxygen unit, Hi-flow oxygen, two critical care cribs, defibrillator, and more. Two surgical suites with Ligature, minimally invasive surgical tower, and C-arm. Separate ICU for post-op recovery and critical care cases. Our amazing technicians are thoroughly trained in anesthesia, ultrasound, CT, X-rays, medical record writing and history taking. 

We have a mentorship program in place for newer graduates, CE funding, and full benefits. All Veterinarians are paid on production, with average salary for all DVMs of at least $200K per year. Housing can be provided if you prefer to travel from out of town.

Yuma, AZ is 2.5 hours from Phoenix and San Diego, and 10 minutes away from Mexico. The city offers abundant affordable housing with large lots, lots of sunshine and minimal rain. In your downtime, you can take advantage of great hiking, sand dunes, off-roading, and river floating.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Supports excellence in client experience
  • Works collaboratively with HM and Medical Director
  • Practices high quality, gold standard medicine

Competencies And Experience:

  • Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of Arizona
  • 1-5 years of clinical experience, preferred but not required
  • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time-management and delegation abilities
  • Exercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills
  • Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others
